We provide two critical rad-tolerant motor controllers for the future Ariane 6 launcher. Our 25kW modular power units are integrated in the latest generation of quick chargers deployed across Europe. Our high temperature motor controllers take places inside the tools of a worldwide player of the O&G services, 10km under the ground, at 175°C ambient temperature. 


We are a dynamic multicultural team, composed of 40 employees, based in Massy (Paris area, France), Pertuis (Aix-en-Provence area, France) and Houston (Texas, USA).


Our engineering team is composed of technicians, engineers and PhDs, experts in power electronics, digital control and software, control theory, industrialization and manufacturing. To sustain our growth, we are currently looking for high energy women and men.


We are looking for an intern in Magnetic Optimization for EV Chargers in Massy (91), with the objective to be hired consecutively.


Integrated in the e-Mobility team, the intern will be in charge of optimization of magnetics components (inductors and transformer) on our latest generation of EV charger. The converter uses a resonant topology (LLC derivate) to achieve high efficiency, high power density and cost effectiveness


Main objectives

*      Efficiency mapping and thermal analysis of current solution

*      Propose new designs to increase the performance. Design should be proved by calculations and/or simulations

*      Experimental validation of new designs and evaluation of cost/performance

*      Impact on EMI/EMC




*      You are in the last year of engineering school or equivalent and are specialized in electrical engineering

*      Skilled in power electronics with knowledge of at least some of the classical topologies (Buck, Boost, Flyback, Full Bridge, etc). Ideally, familiar with more complex topologies such as resonant converters

*      Basic understanding of EMC constraints

*      Previous experience with LTspice or MATLAB / Simulink simulation is a plus

*      You are dynamic and curious and fond of technology.

*      You can communicate in English and French
